Chunjang - Korean Black Bean Paste is made from a mixture of soybeans, flour and caramel and is fermented.

Garaetteok - Korean Rice Cakes are cylinder-shaped white rice cakes made from rice flour, sometimes tapioca starch and water. 

​

Kimchi - fermented vegetables are spicy fermented vegetables usually cabbage, with Korean flavours added, normally garlic, ginger & Korean chilies.

​

Sesame oil is a vegetable oil derived from sesame seeds with a nutty flavour.

​

Danmuji - Pickled Yellow Radish is pickled daikon (white radish). The radish are fermented which concentrates the flavour of the radish, often flowers are added as well as vinegar and salt and they are pickled for months resulting in the yellow colour.

​

Doenjang - Fermented Bean Paste is a thick brown paste made from fermented soybeans and salt.

​

Gochujang - Fermented Chili Paste is a Korean chili paste made from glutinous rice, fermented soybeans, red chili pepper flakes, and salt.

​

Gochugaru - Korean Red Pepper Flakes are chili flakes with a mild to moderate taste and are often called Korean chili powder, Korean chili flakes, Hot pepper flakes and red pepper flakes.
